Maybe last post for the next week…
Saturday, July 26th, 2003Today we showed up and moved our stuff into tim’s place. Nells (tim’s house mate) came back from the Gym (next door) and we all said hey. Quite a few people stopped in. So no one has really gotten any sleep. (Cora is asleep on the couch right now.) After some quick re-couping we left the house on the way to the lake but stopped at like Zippys or some crazy fast food place like that. Then stopped at another house where 2 guys tim shared a room with last year are living, and chatted for a bit. We then left with Hackbarth to go go the lake. Well ride was long… then we got out of the car and walked through the friggin’ jungle in our flip flops and swim suits for like 15 minutes, to decide it was the wrong place, and to head back. By that time the other guy from the house we stopped by had caught up to us. We then rolled for another 10 or so minutes down the road to the real stop. We hiked 10 minutes into the cliffs to go cliff diving into the lake. It was a great time.
Came back to tim’s house and we all took showers and hung out for like 2 hours. I went with the guy from steamboat (CO) to see some relatives that live near by.
We then went to a mexican resaurant for dinner.
I now sit here ont he couch surfing for the last time I think for the next week on my super slow cell phone internet.
Doug is flying to the airport near at like 10, so a crew is going to pick him up.
Tomorrow we leave early early to load up on the bus with all the kids from WA going to this camp in Oregon, yay for a 7 hour bus trip…
