Sleep, Wireless

Sunday, August 24th, 2003

Ok, done being a geek. I really am into 802.11b right now. I have done quite a bit in the last few days, and I was going to make my own antenna but I forgot the supply of the 2 parts I need is none existent in Littleton. I think the nearest place that “MIGHT” have it is 38 minutes from here…
If you know any place that sells pigtails and such for 802.11b cards, send me an email now! Thanks.

I am now to my bed, so I can attend church tomorrow.

The Backpack Initiative
So, backpacks these days get outrageously HUGE. I was tired of it, and fearing my PowerBook getting crushed. The Anwser: The Backpack Initiative. As all days are divided by a lunch, as should the contents of your backpack. Make a trip to your local office store and get a super cheap backpack. (Mine even has a styling reflector on it.) Now the final step, pack a pre-lunch and post-lunch bag. Now as you return of lunch, grab the other bag!

Hazel Miller Concert
My dad was looking in the paper and saw the name. Dad thought it was the lady who sang on the Sister Sweetly Big Head Todd CD, and I verified him. We both enjoyed her at the last Big Head Concert, so we went online to find out about tickets. Concert took place in a small amphitheater and a grass hill in front of it. Everyone at the house ended up going (Dad, Mom, Tim and I.) We sat 1 blanket from the stage. I had a blast. The band and her had a tone of Aretha Franklin, and Stevie Woner, as they covered both of those artists in their performance.
