Search Terms of the last month.

Wednesday, December 31st, 2003

So you know when you type in “Whatever” at google.com to find a site, here are what people typed in, at what search engine to find my site. As in, they searched for the following text, then clicked on my site from the results page… It appears I (a) cover a wide range of topics on my site, (b) need to teach people better searching techniques… (The number at the end represents how many times the event happened.)

Geocaching, Bug for Sale?

Tuesday, December 30th, 2003

Today I did end up going geocaching with Kevin. We had a great time, but yah, I’ll have my email to the guy who created the catch we attempted spell it out for you.

“Dear Mr. Cacheup,
This evening a friend and I ventured to conduct your multicache. We had great fun finding the first two film canisters, but after about 30 minutes of looking we returned home to get some coats and a flash light. We searched again for the third one for a good hour. This is our first cache but we do not think we were overlooking it. We question if after the recent super windy weather, maybe the small canister with only paper in it could have blown away. We will look again tomorrow in the daylight but are wondering if you can check to see if it still is there, if so may we have another clue. Thanks a lot for all of your time. Hope to be signing your log book shortly.”

I also drove the bug with Tim and Mom to meet dad at Rico’s for lunch. Before we left when I was in the shower Tim answered the door to a man who was asking if I would sell my bug, Tim told him I was not interested. Tim later joked I should have traded him straight up as he had a brand new mustang. (Yah then I could sell it and get 2 bugs. =-)

Yay for winter break.

Monday, December 29th, 2003

I am so enjoying winter break. Today I picked up a Garmin eTrex Legend GPS unit. Quite a bit of fun, and from that I am super excited to go geocaching and may go find one tomorrow!

Father and I also installed my auxiliary lights on my bug, I think I have passed the limit for my generator, maybe my next project is making a windmill generator for the bug, get some more electricity in.

Tonight the grandparents stopped in for dinner, then watched Pirates of the Caribbean. I watched the first hour then watched the rest with the mirror next to my computer watching into the entertainment room behind me. (yah, not the best fung swhaway but hey, I have a rear view mirror alright!?)
