Rocket Special:How to be Cool @ CSM!
Monday, October 25th, 2004So first off the key to being cool here is mildly based on how much you know about computers. This puts Matt up quite a few notches in everyone’s book. I mean if you want to crack into you roommates wireless network, just ask Matt. He knows it all.
Thinking and looking like you are cool is everything! The perfect example of this is Bud. I mean you know this kid is cool just because he can do a high-five and a 360 all in one shot. Also he randomly grabs your nipples! That shows serious confidence. Don’t act non-cool around Bud though because he will take every opportunity to publicly announce your un-cool deed. Like one time I was in Chemistry lecture and he shouted HEY ROCKET!! from all the way across the auditorium in front of 200+ people and I responded in a goofy, way, but mostly I was just trying to be as obnoxious as he was, but he totally called me on being non-cool. I guess I have to be more decked out in American Eagle before I can be as obnoxious as him and still be cool. But it’s all good because I like the way he grabs my nipples when I am not looking.
I love and respect Bud though, because he is a good guy and lots of fun. (Maybe that is what makes him cool…?)
I was researching information about suicide here at Mines considering that is how I am feeling right now considering the stress of trying to get descent grades. Suicide used to be a big deal here, but luckily we have not had one since 2001. They have made many changes to the school to stop kids from feeling like they were in prison. Apparently one year there were multiple freshman suicides in one year. Crazy. Most links from my google search were actually guides to getting a date here at Mines. Crazy.
We just got back from a trip to Moab. It was awesome and cool. Matt was a cool dude and took loads of pictures. That rocks. Back home that used to be my job, but I got tired of it. My favorite pic of me is below.

Gotta go to kayak club.
Note: it’s who you look like, not who you are. (more…)
Tonight’s Chemistry Exam went a bit better than last one. I am hoping to transpose last Exams score of 37 to a 73. After I left I knew my last super point value question, I had neglected even though I could calculate it, it was to be zero. We’ll see.
