Home from my 3-4:15 NHV class. Oye! The teacher is teaching like we are senior english majors. This is a required class. You’d think when we take Calculus for Engineers, we would take a writing class targeted at our major. Today she had us read into a lame ‘warm feely’ *cough* not valueable*cough* magazine article. I am at a point to say really mean things. Today’s lesson is creativity, think of something bad.

‘Third’ interview for my job tomorrow. I hope it goes well, and I’m not as stressed as I was last time.

I win

I was just looking at some pictures. I have had my computer and backpack (and somewhat favorite shirt) since the third day of the ninth month of the two-thousand-second year. 9/3/02 (or I prefer 02/9/3.)

If I was good at math, I would explain the age of my computer. Instead I present this timeline.

The First Week (Or WEAK) in review.

Chatting with Shane one meal I came up the idea to do a wrap of everyone at Mine’s who web log I read. So here is. Issue 1. The review of everything that happened to my friends at Mines. I’ll read so you don’t have to!

Davey explained our evening. see my post about that. Davey and Lance are playing post a picture you made in photoshop that includes part of the image the other guy made. They call it tennis. What ever you want to call it, Dave posted a pretty awesome picture (Link to picture removed because davey’s site doesn’t allow.) Blog Entry Link.
Lance’s week included getting over the flu or something like that. [1]. Then he had a well required rant about him getting screwed by his roommate’s as they stole the DVD drive out of his XBox, and Lance sold it without knowing it. That same post details the Casa Bonita adventure I missed out on, but included the thief’s. leaves for Texas.
M Shoup posted a rather humorus calculus image.
Shad wrote about his last weekend in AZ, a talk with the ex girlfriend post valentines day. Feelings with that same girl. Moments. and “Once again we’re back together.” POST CONTAINS KISSING!

One day my blog will have content…

Shane’s week included a celebration of this weekend’s Reient K concert, his rant about laundry, slight comentary on travis’s eating of a gallon of icecream, ( he didn’t finish coverage on the blog). And yestersday night concluded with the thought of “why do i even try“.
Russell posted about the evening. Again see my post Russell seems to be plotting an explosive weekend.

There it is! If you have a blog, post a comment and if I know, and like you, maybe you’ll be in next week’s, “week in review.” Thanks for reading!

Another Perspective of last night

Friday, February 25th, 2005

For dinner I cooked a bunch of spaghetti and elk. The food would not be the same without the Moab crew there (Matt, Lance, Alex, Cal, and I) so I called them all up and we ate spaghetti. This proved to be a laid-back mellow good time. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone’s company. Matt, Shad, Russell and I met up at the Higher Grounds Coffee Shop for open mic night for the Right Brains Anonymous CSM Club. I was quite surprised at how talented some of the kids at this school are. Not everyone here is a narrow-minded uninspiring number junkie. There were slam poets, raunchy comedians, and descent guitarists that sang sappy love songs. The overall crowd of people was intriguing and open-minded. Following the ARB’s open mic everyone met up at the student center to watch The Life Aquatic. Today felt very surreal. The movie complimented my happy-go-lucky surreal mood very well. It was a perfect way to end the night.

- from Davey’s web log entry

Rocket asked me if I wanted to go with me to the higher grounds coffee shop for the anonymous right brain things. It was pretty sweet, I laughed really hard at some of the stuff and some of the people were damn good. There was one dude who read 2 pages of phrases for female masturbation that he came up with…it was quite hilarious….I won’t evne go into some of the things he had. The poeple playing songs really kinda inspired me to want to learn the guitar even more. Ah if I only had unlimited time, money, and people to teach me cool stuff.
