Thursday and Friday
Saturday, June 25th, 2005Thursday. Sailing!
Drew joined me as we made it to town around 1pm. I was really hoping Tim would be able to finally join me sailing. Tim was busy trying to find a house and could not come. I called about 15 people and no one was anwsering. Nick G. did anwser the call for another crewman. While we were waiting Dad decided he was going to do his work later and join our little adventure. When Nick showed up (a friend from high school) I went to introduce him to Drew, turns out Drew was an RA last year where Nick was going to school. Small world. We stopped by subway as we were dying for food. The wind was blowing. Perfect! Made it to the lake, so excited I was joking about sailing from the dock. We’ll as we motored out, and started to hoist the sails… the wind went dead… BOOO… We got some breeze, but not much. Drew slept in the cabin for about two hours. Greg loaned us some speakers for the iPod so we just hung out on deck. Good day! That night we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.
I went to the mall while I was in littleton to get fitted for a tux for my brothers wedding. Whoops! I was THE last person in the wedding to get measured…. what’s my prize!?
Made a grocery store walk about 1 AM with drew. I now have bread to make PB and J’s with. I didn’t know much skill goes into PB and J’s, you gotta get the right amount of each of those. Amazing.
Today I slept in, late. Got a run in. Worked from 3:30-10:30.
Tomorrow I have breakfast planned with Davey and Lance. Should be awesome. Gotta stop by littleton and pick up a cable from my brother he was borrowing, so I can get my old(er) iPod to Joel. Work 4:30-forever. The end.
Pictures from last Tuesday
Thursday, June 23rd, 2005Here are my pictures from camping. I used three of the sunrise photos (boy that was early) to make an amazing panorama. We printed it on A4 paper, gorgeous if I say so myself.
