Today marks one week of freedom. I have done nothing. Sorta nice.

I got to remember to have this summer/break sorta fun during the school semester coming up. For example, bowling. Had some fun bowling Tuesday and Wednesday night, two different groups of folks.

Ok so I’m a bit bummed I couldn’t find ANYONE to go skiing today. If I get motivated I’ll go on a ride, but it’s not looking exactly ‘warm’ out there. Talking about wishing and fun, i sorta looked for some road trip company, last christmas break adventure with lance to cali was amazing. I don’t wanta just sit my break away. I worked so hard for this freedom!

Continuing with my no topic post, i leave you with two car related sites to check out.

  • First off, check out this picture tour some VW forum member posted of the VW factory for the Phateon.
  • Next up, here is an article about a really really fast car. The article is pretty well written and entertaining.

    SCHOOL
School is pretty much wrapped up. Last final yesterday 8 AM, finished a group project after that, worked on the bug after that.

Going to go meet with my Phys prof at noon here, so wish me luck.

    BUG
About the bug; new motor is in her, she’s roaring, just not as controlled as she should. At lower RPMs the engine speed drifts, it will be steady then say around every 30 seconds it will speed up, then slow down, then even out. At say around 1200 RPMs you can’t really notice it. Randy thinks it’s a vacuum leak in the intake manifold and we’ll need to take her apart and look for clues.

I am sorta wondering if this issue is what this site is talking about: A Gearhead’s View of The 009 Hesitation Blues. Hope I can fix it today.

    FUN
Had a BBQ instead of a freshman bible study monday, it was pretty awesome. Fire dept came thinking we had a fire, we just had a grill. Tuesday instead of the soph biblestudy we had dinner at Mike’s, played some B-ball at the school he teaches at, it was nice to not be the absolute worst on the field for the first time. Wednesday night made it to dinner with Lance, then studied for the THursday final. Lo and behold last night, Greg had gotten this huge marble set from Elana so last night Alex and a friend of his, Matt Bolt, Greg, Elana and I had a team marble track building competition. Some how we spent like 4 hours doing it, and somehow it was pretty entertaining. I’m sure there’s pictures and video’s coming.
