SPRING BREAK OH-SIX!

Saturday, March 18th, 2006

Went skiing yesterday, caught a ride with my uncle, Tom. We went to Breck where my dad’s cousin was in town with his family and had a good time skiing. They were visiting from Kansas so we just did blue cruisers all day. I had a blast, took the iPod this time, learned my skis a little more. Great day, a little snow storm mid day, and not too much wind.

I choose not to get up early for the bike race this morning. Yah, I know, I’m a slacker. Well I am heading to Benua Vista today with Nick, coming back tomorrow.

My NCAA picks are now only second in points in the pool. I had some beginners luck and was tied for 3 at my school and was about double the second place guy in my pool.

Today - 1 test - 2 classes = Spring Break

Alright alright. Shad’s still in town - he’s keeping me a little more in tune with the rest of the world’s time zone. I think he’s going to head up to Boulder this afternoon.

I on the other hand am going to Calc III land, so I can pass my test tomorrow night (with flying colors!)

I’m in my assembly class right now. My prof is explaining why he is dressed up today - his wife decided to wait and do laundry right before spring break. That’s funny.

Back on track. My current spring break plans start off with me ditching class on Friday to go skiing. A bike race on Saturday morning. Then hopefully I will have found cheap airfare somewhere, or a place to stop on my road trip. GOALS: leave school behind, leave the state, and take some pictures.

Rocks, Company, Movie

5 days, 2 tests, 1 assignment until spring break! Friday I meet up with Davey, Michael, and Mic at the climbing gym before heading to the airport. I really enjoyed climbing this time, as I couldn’t make it up a route first, so I took a break, and came back and made it. That’s cool to do something you couldn’t before, even if it was 30 minutes ago. Michael still impresses me every time I see him climb, I think he climbs with ropes just to keep one hand busy. *grin*

My rock climbing stop was on the way to the airport to pickup Shad. Shad went to mines last year, transfered to Arizona, but decided to spend his spring break out here.

Saturday we really did nothing but for a day of nothing we were quite busy. We meet my parents, Tim and Cora for breakfast. Watched some comedy. Had a HUGE late lunch at On the Boarder. Hung out at Barnes and Noble for a few hours. The evening had a movie, mac & cheese, a 20 minute nap for me, and then we picked up Alex after he got off work and went to Denny’s for some late night dessert. Quite the entertaining day, be it the drunk man who wanted to beat up Alex at Denny’s, or driving around in the snow in the fogged up freezing bug, or eating two baskets of huge monster chips at lunch.

I was hoping to meet up with Ben, who is in town for the weekend, I text messages a few times, but never got a call or a plan. Steven D is in l town for spring break, heard from him yesterday, might try to meet up this afternoon.

Lazy Thursday

I couldn’t find anyone to go skiing with today but somehow it was still awesome. I hung out at the coffee shop from about 2-5. Davey came and studied with me, Ben showed up, ran into Erik. Brandon and I went to dinner at Manny and Bo’s. It was cool to hang out with Brandon out of a group, and have some good company for dinner. I studied some more at Barnes and Noble from from say 7:30 to now with davey. Ok, I studied for about half, and enjoyed the reading materials and magazines for the other half.
