Flickr Geotagging
Today Flickr released their geotagging features. I’m impressed. I have a few pictures posted up on Flickr, so I tested out their features and you can see the results by looking at this map. The drag drop interface to tagging is great, the viewer is very nice. I’m very pleased.
My one complaint is I want the GPS data in EXIF data, not just as a tag on a specific service. The worst part is my tagged photos Flickr does nothing. If you inspect the EXIF data on the picture online it shows the lat and long stored, but will not map the photo. That makes me sad.
