Phoenix for the day

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

Saturday I had an adventure of types I hadn’t had before. I left my house at 4:30 AM and returned at 10:30 PM with a long stop in Phoenix! Oh you impress me technology. I was flown out by Apple for my Campus Rep training. It was great hanging out with the CO reps, the flights were even entertaining. On the way back Eric started chatting with the lady in his row before he even sat down. He commented on the title of her book, making fun of it. From there the discussion was something HILARIOUS. They just bickered like they had been dating for two weeks and just making fun of each other.

Other note-able’s from the trip was the large consumtion of good for my mouth, bad for my body food. It was wonderful. They had the event catered, so breakfast, 2nds. Some brunch between sessions. Lunch, grab a few cokes during afternoon session. Dessert break. Wonderful!

Alright- as always check out the photos!

Friday’s DAM adventure round 2.

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

On friday I had the wonderful joy of experiencing the new DAM (Denver Art Museum) for a second time with another fine lady. The DAM partner for this trip was Danielle. Not to much to note. Find the photo of the curator; She gave me the defacto lecture on what I could and couldn’t take pictures of, then we ran into her later while I was taking a picture of Danielle with some crazy African art when we ran into her. She joked if I wanted to take a picture of her with the art, and heck yes I did. Good times. Alright- check out the whole album.

Yeti Cycles Factory Tour

Tuesday, October 24th, 2006

Had a tour today of the Yeti Cycles factory. It was great, the guys were really nice and down to earth. I think we shot the breeze just chatting with the four or so guys around the factory for over an hour after the tour finished. I took a bunch of photos, sorta disappointed, didn’t know I was getting so much grain in the photos. Should have used more flash, but you’ll have to take them as they are. I was amazed, the US production is only two welders! One or two part time welders when they need them, but wow, just two guys welding. They do production of one bike for a week, today we watched them work on the 303.

All of the photos from the tour.

Check out Brandon’s write up of the event.
