I’m racing tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday up in Fort Collins. The details are here and the details for start times tomorrow are here
3 races this weekend. 1st one Saturday between 8:30 and 10. 2nd one Saturday at 12:55pm. Then Sunday is on the CSU campus and I start up at 9:15 am. (Both saturday races you just need to find your way to Masonville, CO and you should find us!) Call the cell if you need details. Neato.
3/10/07 Metro Time Trail
There was a time trial in Bear Creek State park. I didn’t get the details of the race until late, and I would have had to been at registration at 7 or something. Long (excuse filled) story short I didn’t race. I did though have the motivation to give Brandon a call and go cheer on the A riders. We did get a good group photo.
Brandon brought a pot and ladel… for cheering. We had some fun cheering; voices were lost, laughter was had. A few recreational riders were rolling though, so Brandon and I would just start yelling like they were almost to the finish line. (They were, although they were not racing.) I think we all cheered a old Subaru wagon to the finish line.
Dad and I made use of our flexible schedules and had a fun ski day the Thursday before spring break. We went up to Copper mountain. I was entertained by the demonstration of Colorado’s weather. We had blue skies, crazy white out conditions, ripping wind. I was more entertained then frustrated by it.
I don’t think I bloged this; Brandon, Nathan and I went to the Colorado Avalanche game. It was a good night of entertainment. The tickets were bought from the school activity-thing so a couple of my buddies happened to be in seats near by. Some icecream was had on the way home as well.
