Monday, June 25th, 2007
Nokia 770 from Woot.comWow. So I have been watching the woot.com bargain site for well over two years. Well tonight (err this morning) I made my first purchase.

Within a few days I will be the (hopefully) proud owner of a Nokia 770 Internet Tablet.

I’m excited.

Brag

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

Welcome to my side of the internet. Hold on because tonight I shall make use of this little place and brag a little bit.

I could be complaining, I was at WWDC last week and missed a whole week (or 1/6th) of field session. That means I gotta get everything done for Thursday’s final paper turn in and presentation with a hustle.  What’s worth bragging about you ask? We’ll not the morning, it was filled with cranking out a draft of the final paper.

Lunch I was able to meet up with Brett at the mall, his sister is in town and we had a long lunch just chatting. After lunch I cranked out a ton of website changes done for my Campus Rep job. It felt good to get things done, and I made use of my fancy computer skills to do it easily. I skipped out the door around 5 to make a run up lookout mountain on the bike, and got a call from Simon. His folks were in town and are quite the cyclists so I rolled down and bike with them for a while. With a negative amount of time to spare I made it back to my house and was hustling to get to Tuesday Night Bowling League!

The league game was just blah, the other team didn’t show. I didn’t bowl to well for that, but we won anyways since it was a forfeit on their part.  The nice wrap up for the night is we made use of my free games at the alley and played one more game with money on the table. We betted with a handicap, I was the weakest bower. All said and done I closed all but the first frame, with five strikes. A 200 was mine, and the evening was more than paid for. That’s a good night out.

Hello World

Monday, June 18th, 2007

Hey friends, I am back in Golden Colorado. WWDC was quite amazing, and I have a bunch of stories to tell. This week is pound out field session week, we have a huge paper due Tuesday on the project, and the final presentation on Thursday. Those account for about 80% of the grade in the course. That means Monday I really should finish the project. I was just working on it, and I owe Greg. He lent me a Mac Mini to do my network setup with. The plan is to get this box configured so I can use it in my presentation on Thursday. Alright, best of luck to all of us!
