My mother had chipped a bone in her leg just before we left so I didn’t expect to do much outdoor adventuring Labor day weekend. Sara decided we should should finish her 14er hiking trip she had done a few weeks ago. Sara, Cora, Dad and I set out for a long hike. Without the forethought of a long hike in packing, I ended up hiking in my Tennis shoes, Dad’s gym shorts, and a cotton t-shirt. I decided I should go big and run to the top of Cameron from the parking lot. (After finishing my super hiking fuel, Coke.) I didn’t maintain a running pace, but I was trucking. I enjoyed blowing past all the crazy ‘hardcore’ hikers, in there super expensive jackets, gloves, poles, etc.
In one picture you can spot an F-150. That is Tim’s truck, and he drove up Mom to the saddle between Lincoln and Cameron.
