Post Pre-Thanksgiving-Giving Recap
Finals came and went, and I’m alive.
Last month Lance surprised us all last month by flexing his culinary skills. I was invited to join in a feast he prepared for a bunch of us, with all the usual thanksgiving fixings. I arived sometime around 7 pm, only to leave at 3. Dinner was entertainig with the large group. Sara and I were eating the left over turkey and gravy fondue style! The sleepiness was fought with interval based dessert break induced sugar high. You can see part of the results in the photos above. That is Lance and Greg enjoying floats other than rootbeer, only after the pies were killed.
The post eating activities were cards and foosball. Chipped teeth, skinned knees were the result of a brutal game of the card game spoons. I’m glad everyone survived. That night was also the first snow in Golden for the season. Lance introduced us to this by a unexpected indoor snowball flying across the room.
I didn’t get the camera out until after dinner, but check out the set.
