Backyard Ski Session
I had a photo night over at neighbor Devin’s. Check out the photos over on Flickr.
Santa followed the Amazon links I sent him, leaving me with a new prime 1.8 lens and remote for my camera. In this Flickr set I jacked around with doing bulb shots with the rear curtain flash. This means I hit the remote once to fire a flash and open the shutter, then hit the remote a second time to fire a final flash and close the shutter. That’s how I made it into a few of the photos, such as the one above.

That’s pretty cool! I also got the 50mm f/1.8 from Santa as well. I haven’t had a lot of chances to use it. But I’m pretty excited with what I’ve done with it so far.
