Glasses for Cheap on the Interweb!
Weird. I just ordered a new pair of prescription glasses. I have to wear glasses to survive, as in I get up and put my glasses on to make it to the bathroom. The problem was, the glasses I had were the only glasses I have ever owned. They were obtained in 5th grade, I am a little tried of the style and the prescription was lacking.
I shopped on Goggles4U, used a coupon, grand total of $24.69.
I’ll keep you guessing on what frames I choose, and I’ll tell you about how crappy or decent these are. I had to get a little assistance from housemate Nate with measuring my PD. This could be entertaining.

I need to write up a serious post but until then here’s a short review:
Glasses showed up.
Actual optics are reasonable.
Frame looked nothing like what I wanted. Instead of a clear, they were a ‘grandma yellow.’
The plastic frame is formed uneven, so it doesn’t sit straight on my face, and cannot be tweaked like a metal frame can to fix it.
I won’t ever wear these glasses out of my house, but decided it was more effort to send them back. The only value they offer me is as a backup pair of glasses.
