Thursday, July 31st, 2008The Stamey Mullervy Wedding
Thursday, July 31st, 2008Thanks for letting me celebrate with you guys, the wedding was great!
The wedding was up north in Lyons, Colorado. Drew and I carpooled from Golden. An outdoor wedding with a great view and wonderful weather. (Although I did break a sweat sitting in the sun.) I enjoyed the wedding march performed by bagpipes.
One thing I’m still confused by is, what did Drew and I do to be put at the kids table? Maybe Tanner knew I’d be playing with my food and camera. Just before the reception Drew lead me up stairs as we explored the building. We try a door on the top floor, out the back, and it seems locked. A girl sitting nearby challenges us “Two engineers can’t get the door open.” I knew better, but we had to prove her wrong. As I get the door open BAAAAAAA, an alarm starts going off, I immediately slam the door with panic. Luckily the sound ended as the door closed. I was so close to being That Guy at the wedding.
Catch a few photos of the wedding.
Pictures and weddings reminds me, I’ve agreed to be the photographer for a friends wedding in one week. If anyone in Denver has a Nikon flash I could borrow, you’d be a hero.
A simple dock
Tuesday, July 29th, 2008The new iPhone came with one less item in the box than the original. I might have to go buy a dock as I used my every day. Provided sound routed through my speakers, while syncing and charging.
One awesome new thing from Apple is their Remote app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It lets you remote control any iTunes or AppleTV library with an amazing interface. Check it out.
This is a picture of my simple replacement dock using just a binder clip. I set the iPod touch to never turn off, and leave open the remote app. Bam! A 3rd screen for my setup used just for managing the beats.
Blame this post on Brady as he asked for pictures.
